CONVERSION
Conversion of Caprice Classic to Caprice SS
- I purchased a new set of Impala SS wheels from the local
Chevrolet dealer. P/N: 12495438, which included: 4-Wheels,
4-Center Caps, 4-Valve Stems and 20-Lug Nuts.
- I purchased the Kuhmo Ecsta ASX tire in the stock size: 255/50ZR-17, from Discount Tire. This is an all season tire and seems to be of good quality.
- Wheel well fender trim is now re-installed and painted body colored. I painted it using Dupli-Color 5oz. spray can #DSGM449 (Dark Cherry Metallic), then clear coated using Dupli-Color clear.
